A downloadable game for Windows

This is my simulation of the infamous Pirate Game: a paper based grid coordinate game where players fill their grid with 49 tiles that can be used to build up score and outwit their opponents.

The much beloved original game is typically played in classrooms of around 30 school children, and doubles up as a fun way to strengthen basic mathematical skills.

The pirate with the most plunder wins!     YAAAARGH!

Rules of The Pirate Game can vary depending on who's running the game, for example I've found at least three differing rulesets for the game online:

The rules in this simulation of the game are based on my personal experiences of playing The Pirate Game. I've also taken a few creative liberties with some of the graphics (e.g. the choose next square 'C' is now a pirate map, and the bank 'B' is now a picture of the bank).

This started as an older project of mine, coded in python using TKinter and Canvas. I've now finished the off the project, added some final features, and compiled it into an exe using autopytoexe.
